Hi, I’m Kate! For years I worked as a registered nurse in a busy Neuro/Trauma ICU, caring for patients and families through some of their toughest moments. Nursing has always been a huge part of who I am, but I’ve decided to take a step back from the hospital world to explore another passion that’s close to my heart, creating.

The name of my business, Healing Burn, comes from both parts of my life: healing from my nursing background, and burn from the precision of the laser machine that brings each design to life.

This idea actually started with my husband, who suggested I use a laser machine to make custom acrylic placards for the company he works for. What began as a practical project turned into something bigger – a chance to explore my creativity while also giving us more time together.

Each design I make is crafted with care, intention, and detail, blending my love for nursing’s healing spirit with the joy of creating something new. I’m so excited to share this journey with you and grateful you’re here to be part of it!
